Mason County Criminal Records

Get Mason County Civil Court Records
Mason County civil court records include case information and files on civil disputes such as breach of contract, medical malpractice claims, personal injury claims, divorce and family law matters, property disputes, and disputes over the distribution of a deceased person’s estate. The Mason County Clerk is the custodian of records for civil disputes handled in the Superior Court, and the District Court administration manages and dispenses civil case records for the District Court.

There is a fee schedule for records research, duplication of court proceedings per tape, and copies of certified court documents from the Mason District Court. The county clerk may also charge fees for releasing copies of court documents.
Mason County Marriage Records
Mason County marriage records are available from the County Auditor’s Office. This office is responsible for issuing marriage licenses, recording marriages, and providing marriage certificates upon request in the county. Individuals can request Mason County marriage records in person, by mail, or by email. Requests must include the couple’s names, wedding date, and location. A valid government-issued ID may be required to process the request. Mail requests should include a self-addressed stamped envelope and proof of payment. A copy of a marriage certificate costs $3.

Mason County Birth and Death Records
The Mason County Public Health Department is responsible for birth and death records within the county. These records are available upon request to eligible persons. Those qualified to request a birth or death record include the person named on the record, immediate family members, legal representatives, or others with a tangible interest in the record.
Eligible individuals should use the Mason County Public Health Birth and Death Certificate online ordering system to request these records. Requests are processed Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Public Health Vital Records Office provides birth certificates for Washington births from 1907 to the present and death certificates for deaths occurring after January 1, 2007. For earlier death records, contact the Washington State Department of Health. Certified birth and death certificates cost $25, with an additional $5 non-refundable service and processing fee and $1 for shipping.
